MCM expo October and Hyper Japan November 2014

So this post is four months late and I apologise! Back in October I met up with the lovely Lizzie Bee for MCM expo. Both of us mainly went to see everyone and buy shit that we don't actually need.

My Jfashion journey *picture heavy*

So I had to title this as "Jfashion" because most people have a certain style they've developed over time such as forms of Lolita or Gyaru. However for me it was just...TRY EVERYTHING. TRY EVERY DAMN THING YOU POSSIBLY CAN!

It made coordinating quite difficult because I had to try fitting every kind of colour into my wardrobe for example, trying to match one top perfect for fairy kei when the rest of my items were shades too dark to make a well executed coord.

Like many of us who have developed a love for Japanese fashion I was into alternative fashion beforehand, adorning myself in studded belts, band t shirts, skinny jeans, neon hair accessories and converses. The obsession began around the age of fourteen when the little-emo-me discovered Death Note - a Manga and Anime series. Anyone else familiar with this should have come across the character Misa Amane (who is annoying as f btw) and is portrayed wearing Harajuku fashion. To be honest I'm not sure what you'd title her style as? A hybrid of punk and goth with a Japanese edge to it? I remember distinctly in the final episode of Death Note she is shown wearing a Lolita dress which was my first encounter with the fashion.

Hello! How are you all? I wanted to review this wig I purchased from spreepicky on storenvy as I was looking for a light coloured wig with twin tails, also the store has free shipping on everything and a girl messaged me her 10% discount code so I thought why not!

Lolita photoshoot

Hello everyone! As I mentioned in my previous posts I recently I purchased my first Lolita dress from Bodyline which influenced my friend Heba to try out Lolita too.
Since Heba had problems with her address she was living at we went to Camden to purchase a dress in person rather than online. Heba went for a more Gothic, classical look and obviously I went for a Sweet, Hime look.
We did a photo shoot around Hatfield old town and at Heba's Uni house and here are some of my favourites.

Shopping spree No.2

Heyyy. here's another haul since I'm getting addicted to Facebook sale pages. First up I found this dress that I had my eye on from Bodyline which was from UK Lolita Facebook sales :). In total it cost me £25 including shipping and I'm really glad I got it when I did - it sold out on the website not long afterwards. Usually the length is tricky for me when purchasing Lolita but I took a chance and it is perfect ♡

Things I've made recently

What's up everyone? I wanted to show some pieces I've made recently (:
First up is a blue floral headband which is currently for sale here, simply message me if you're interested ^^
It is a pale pink headband covered with white lace, false lillies, peonies, roses and pearls - also, I've really missed wearing lolita!! ;; But I feel uncomfortable and concious wearing it out in public unless I am going to an event

Next I took this old bow I made which originally was on a bag. I attached the pearls and the teddy bear in the centre. Its a little too big on this type of wig. It would look much better on the bouffant Hime Gyaru hair style (:
This isn't for sale since its not made very well because of what it originally was for I didn't care much for the appearance on the back of the bow. So I'd feel bad selling something that's not neatly and precisely made.
Next is a pink and cream floral headband which has become my favourite headband ;3; this is not currently for sale as I love it too much! It is made of roses, pearls and lace ^^

And here are some other shots that I liked (:

Wearing my Fantastic dolly dress! :D

See the little bow in the middle? It was from my lovely Korean penpal - Hyun. She sent a pair of adorable hair clips to me :)).
The dress Fits me much better now! Also I got a new wig from ebay for like £17!! I originally bought it to do a CL cosplay in October from 2NE1's 'follow me' video :) but yeah...I wanted to wear it today xD.
I felt like trying a sort of...lolita-gyaru look today :D and my lenses match my dress~
Seriously I can't believe how much make-up I had to put on today. My skin has gone mad and had a sudden outbreak of horrid spots (feel like I'm 14 again D;). I decided to research some decent skin products (tried everything when I was younger and only the pill cleared it up - now the pill is failing) and I used my facial mask by  'Kiss Me Heroine make' and there wasn't much difference, some of the redness went down - but it felt so good on my face!
Since the brand is so expensive for a large pack I was looking on my friend Jayde's blogspot: Sarangseoulcity.blogspot.co.uk

And she recommended:
Etude House: 'Daily mask skin Yeast + Vitamin C
There are three scents in total but I didn't really know what the other two scents were, and the yeast part made me laugh...don't you think yeast is a funny word? No? Just me...bahaha yeast.
I ordered it from 'cosmetic loves' on ebay:
Cosmetic Loves originally I was looking for some more BB cream and I came across 'cosmetic loves' and remembered Jayde's post and decided to sort my skin out! x)

They also have free shipping and free samples! I can't wait until it arrives :3
And I hope that the face masks work ;A;
