Gyaru Meet 22/2/2014
On 22/2/2014 we had a Valentines Gyaru meet in Leicester square and for once we had nice weather! It was a surprise and I definitely didn't need the huge coat that I wore ;A;

Shopping spree No.2
Heyyy. here's another haul since I'm getting addicted to Facebook sale pages. First up I found this dress that I had my eye on from Bodyline which was from UK Lolita Facebook sales :). In total it cost me £25 including shipping and I'm really glad I got it when I did - it sold out on the website not long afterwards. Usually the length is tricky for me when purchasing Lolita but I took a chance and it is perfect ♡

My Rilakkuma Kigu arrived!

Hooraaaay!!
After a 6 weeks wait it finally arrived when I got home from work, it was a pleasant surprise

I purchased this kigu from ebay: Rilakkuma Kigu
There are many selections for you to chose from, and other than the super long wait it really is worth the money. (It took longer to get here because: one, it was shipped from China and two, the Olympics delayed the delivery as well.)
This was the cheapest Kigu I could find and the quality is great!
It feels like a full-body dressing gown and its adorable :3
It also has pockets but they are too low on me to reach naturally, I have to stretch my arms XD
Also, unlike the adult baby-grows in Primark it does not have extra material for the feet so it means I can fit into it even if it is still slightly long for my short ass-ness :3

Wearing my Fantastic dolly dress! :D
See the little bow in the middle? It was from my lovely Korean penpal - Hyun. She sent a pair of adorable hair clips to me :)).
The dress Fits me much better now! Also I got a new wig from ebay for like £17!! I originally bought it to do a CL cosplay in October from 2NE1's 'follow me' video :) but yeah...I wanted to wear it today xD.

I felt like trying a sort of...lolita-gyaru look today :D and my lenses match my dress~
Seriously I can't believe how much make-up I had to put on today. My skin has gone mad and had a sudden outbreak of horrid spots (feel like I'm 14 again D;). I decided to research some decent skin products (tried everything when I was younger and only the pill cleared it up - now the pill is failing) and I used my facial mask by
'Kiss Me Heroine make' and there wasn't much difference, some of the redness went down - but it felt so good on my face!
Since the brand is so expensive for a large pack I was looking on my friend Jayde's blogspot: Sarangseoulcity.blogspot.co.uk
And she recommended:

Etude House: 'Daily mask skin Yeast + Vitamin C
There are three scents in total but I didn't really know what the other two scents were, and the yeast part made me laugh...don't you think yeast is a funny word? No? Just me...bahaha yeast.
I ordered it from 'cosmetic loves' on ebay: Cosmetic Loves originally I was looking for some more BB cream and I came across 'cosmetic loves' and remembered Jayde's post and decided to sort my skin out! x)
They also have free shipping and free samples! I can't wait until it arrives :3
And I hope that the face masks work ;A;

GEO Angel Violet CM-831 review
Well, this is half a review, since this is my first time purchasing & wearing circle lenses; therefore, I have nothing to compare to ..

I purchased these from iwantcute.com, here is a link to the actual lenses I bought if anyone is interested: http://www.iwantcute.com/GEO-Angel-Violet-CM-831.html
Okay first, here is a photo of how the lenses were sent to me~
They came with a standard free contact lens case too :3. I think the lenses took about a week and a half to get to me in the UK, but I'm not sure where they were sent from. I checked the website again (I probably haven't looked hard enough) and it does not say which country the lenses are shipped from, so delivery may differ depending on where you live.
Anyway! Trying them on for the first time did scare me a little as I didn't know how to get them out at all, but putting in the lenses was quite easy.
Once the lenses were in my vision was blurry around the edges for a while, I couldn't look up without my eyes watering but I guess my eyes needed time to adjust.
There was a thickness to them as well, where I would blink and be able to feel the rim of the lens, however, I have no idea if that's normal since I've never worn any contacts before! Haha. Here is an example of how they look in natural light:

A lot of brown still shows in the centre but I knew circle lenses were designed with a large space along the middle anyway so that does not bother me. I wore the lenses for about two hours and I experienced a lot of watery eye syndrome!
Again, I think this is due to my eyes not being used to contact lenses.

Here is an example of how the lenses appear further away. I love the size of these lenses as they're not too overwhelming, some lens sizes make people look high! xD
Also, the colour is not as vibrant as I'd like it, however it does look very natural considering it is a violet coloured lens. The colour obviously differs in certain lights such as using flash:

Pretend flames on candles ftw!!
Excuse my extremely derpish face...I was getting near to a slightly drunk stage. (Click to enlarge the image) Here you can see they are much more vibrant with flash.

Here are some more images for y'all :))
Overall, they took a little while for me to get used to but they are lovely lenses~! I love the look of them although I would mark them down for comfort as they still blur my vision slightly around the edges :c
